Second Nature, Inc. is a family owned and operated landscape design / build firm, specializing in custom residential landscapes. We service the entire Northern Virginia region and much of the Greater Washington DC area.

Founded in 1994, Second Nature, Inc. is the brainchild of the husband and wife team Garth and Lani Woodruff. Early on, as designers Mr. and Mrs. Woodruff recognized the importance of a commitment to high-quality service that would be customized to meet the needs of each individual client. This translated into offering and management of every aspect during landscape installation, creating a full service company. As the company has evolved over the years, this committment has remained the centerpiece of Second Nature's business methods.
